Albert Milton Thomas, Jr.

Mr. Albert Thomas, Jr., 61, of 7529 NC Hwy 41 E., Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at his residence.

Albert was born August 28, 1961, in Bladen County to Albert Milton Thomas and wife Joyce Hall Thomas. Albert enjoyed a career as a Truck Driver working for himself. In addition to his father: Albert Milton Thomas, Albert is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents: James Marion Hall and wife Evelyn Hall; John Douglas Thomas and wife Mary Merritt Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Atkins Cemetery, 657 White Plains Church Road, Clarkton, NC.

Albert leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Blake Alexander Hewett of Lansing, MI; Jonathan Scott Thomas of Wilmington, one daughter: Tera Renee Thomas of Elizabethtown, mother: Joyce Hall Thomas of Elizabethtown; one brother: James Douglas Thomas of Elizabethtown and wife Christine, and one grandchild: Mattie Joyce Richardson of Elizabethtown.

A viewing will be held prior to the service on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home from 1:00-2:30 PM in Garland.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Albert’s honor to the White Lake Baptist Church, 7636 NC 41, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
