Mr. Arnold Sparrock, 83, of 488 Hagar Murphy Road, Rose Hill, passed away on Tuesday, April 04, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Arnold was born January 05, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Louis Ernest Sparrock and his wife Pearl Anderson Sparrock. After serving in the military, Arnold worked as a utility worker with Consolidated Edison NY (ConEd) for 25 years before retiring, and Prestige Farms (NC) for 15 years before retiring.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
Arnold leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife: Agnes C. Nixon Sparrock, two sons: Arnold Sparrock Jr. of Rose Hill, and Kevin Sparrock (Ajaya Lunett) of Pembroke Pines, FL, one daughter: Crystal Cecilia Jones (Xavier) Stafford, VA, sister: Blanche Patton of Hempstead, NY, brother: David Sparrock of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, grandchildren: Christopher Xavier Jones, Elijah Xavier Jones, Asha Pearl Sparrock, Kamau Nagila Sparrock, Simone Grace Sparrock, and Nandi Imani Janay Sparrock, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
