Ms. Brenda Collins, 48, of 4331 Belcher St., Farmville, formerly of Garland, NC died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, Greenville, NC.

Ms. Collins was born February 07, 1971 in Onslow County. Ms. Collins is preceded in death by her parents James Barrett Sr., Mary Ghee Barrett, two brothers Wayne Newton Barrett, Jerry Lee Evans, grandmothers Elma Barrett, Louvenia Ghee, uncles Hennery Ghee, Herman Barrett, Hanny Ghee Hosea, great aunts Adrian Ghee, Ali, Mattie, Luby, Marie, Edna and cousins Christine and Janice Jeanette.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 01, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home, Garland. Burial will follow in the Barrett Family Cemetery, Harrells.

Ms. Collins is survived by her partner Mr. Ricky Barfield, Farmville, two daughters Kathy T. Collins, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, C’ana R Barrett, Los Angeles, CA, one son Joshua E. Barrett, Pico Rivera, CA, grandsons Kesly Saint Luc Jr., Izayah Collins, granddaughter Aviah C’ana Washington, five sisters Erleen Barrett, Los Angeles, CA, Regina Barrett, Pico Rivera, CA, Carolyn Barrett Leonard, GA, Elma Evans, San Diego, CA, Delma (Timothy) Hickey, Benson, NC, three brothers James Dexter (Jacquelin) Barrett Jr., Tyrone (Martha) Evans, New Bern, NC, Jerry (Pamela) Barrett, Garland, NC, stepmother Delma Evans a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
