Ms. Cathy “Kay” Sellars, 57, of 60 Lula Green Lane, died Friday, February 14, 2020 at her residence.
Ms. Sellars was born February 27, 1962 in Sampson County. Ms. Sellars is preceded in death by her mother Laura Elizabeth Newkirk Sellars.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2020 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Ivanhoe, NC. Interment to follow at Newkirk Cemetery in Harrells, NC.
Ms. Sellars is survived by her father Ivory Sellars of Philadelphia, PA, one son; Jonathan Sellars (Jamecca) of Teachey, NC, one daughter; Tamika Sellars of Harrells, NC, one brother; Johnny Sellars of Harrells, NC, two sisters; Anjenette Kerr of Harrells, NC, Brenda Highsmith (Connie) of Harrells, NC, four grandchildren; Tristan Lee Sellars, Jaden Sellars, Tamia Stewart-Sellars and Gregory Stewart-Sellars.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, and other times at the home of Anjenette Kerr 265 Cannady Rd., Harrells, NC.
