Clarence Allen Dowless

Mr. Clarence A. Dowless, 71, of 2105 NC Hwy 210 W., Garland, passed away on Sunday, August 07, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Clarence was born July 25, 1951, in Bladen County, to the late John H. Dowless and wife Betty Horne Dowless. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Pearlie Dowless, brother; Jimmy Dowless, brother; Mary Norris, sister; and Elvis Higgins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church, 1983 Bull St., Garland. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. By Rev. David Lewis.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mary Staton Dowless of the home; Charles Dowless, brother of Raleigh; Renee (LH); Pamela (Brad); Kim (Garrett), grandchildren: Nicholas (Emilee); Morgan; Joshua; Mackenzie; Austin, and a host of nieces, nephews, brother and sister in law’s.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 12:30-1:25 PM, at Friendship Baptist Church, 5879 Bull St., Garland.
