Cornell S. Smith

Mrs. Cornell S. Smith 87 of 185 Smith Mill Pond Rd. Garland, NC, died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Smith was born January 26, 1932 in Bladen Co., the daughter of the late David Rufus Smith and Nellie Nettie Smith.  He was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Smith.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 01, 2019 at Beards Chapel Baptist Church by the Reverend Barry Helms.  Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery on Mote Rd., Harrells, NC.

Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Connie Guyton and husband Randy Guyton of Garland, three grandchildren, Bambi Dove and husband Jerry Dove of Garland, Dana Norris and husband Johnathon Norris of Garland, Brandee Watson and husband Donovan Watson of Burke, Va, six great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Dove, Laney Richardson, Kayley Richardson, Lennox Norris, Bodie Watson, Crew Watson.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Randy & Connie Guyton 181 Smith Mill Pond Rd., Garland, NC.
