David Lawrence Myers

David Lawrence Myers, 68, of White Lake, NC, passed peacefully at Lower Cape Fear Life Care of Whiteville, NC, on April 08, 2022.

Dave was born in Santa Barbara, CA, and was preceded in death by his parent Dan and Patricia Reynolds Myers, a sister Loretta, a brother Bruce, a nephew Nathan, a niece Sarah, and a grandson Wade Sumner.

Dave leaves behind his wife of 34 years June Thomas Myers of the home, daughters Laura Nicole (Nikki) Myers and Dana Leigh Myers, sons Jamie Sumner and wife Terra, Jeffrey Sumner and wife Candace, and Jason (JT) Thomas and wife Jessi, a brother Kenny Myers, and sisters Yvonne Saunders and Leslie Bowen, grandchildren Callie Sumner, Brady Sumner, Dylan Myers, Mia Myers, Alexandra Sumner, Andrew Sumner, and Alieyah Godwin, and many nieces and nephews.

Dave loved his family, friends, lake buddies, work buddies, Scotchman “club”, church family, and community. A private memorial service will be held at the family home.
