David Franklin Smith

Mr. David Franklin Smith, 61, of 518 David Jessup Smith Road, Garland, NC died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born August 26, 1958 in Sampson County. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his son David Franklin Smith Jr. and his parents David Jessup and Rosie Pate Smith.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Garland.

Mr. Smith is survived by two sons; Joe Smith and wife Kristen of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Franklin Wayne Smith and wife Olivia of Michigan, one daughter; Lisa Smith of Pauls Valley, OK, four brothers; Richard Smith and wife Patricia of Garland, NC, Ronald Smith and wife Carol of Roseboro, NC, Lynn Smith and wife Susan of Garland, NC, Leslie Smith and wife Linda of Garland, NC, three sisters; Lula Hansen and husband Eddie of Raleigh, NC, Julia Hansen and husband Art of Clinton, NC, Gaynelle Bryant of Garland, NC and eight grandchildren.
