Dennis Wayne Hixson

Dennis Wayne Hixson, 65, of 6511 Tomahawk Hwy., Harrells, NC, went gently on July 02, 2022, at home.

Born February 05, 1957, in Douglas County, Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents Dana and Nellie Hixson, as well as a sister, Melinda deceased at birth, and the son of his heart, Robert McCloud Jr.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Joanne McPhail Anders Hixson of the home, stepson, Kenan Anders of Blaine, WA, siblings, Vicky Durney of Indian Trail, SC, Janice Ekman of Harrisburg, NC, Andy Hixson, and five grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 09, 2022, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Garland. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 12:45-1:45 PM.  Friends and family are invited to the home afterward. A Private Burial will be held at a later date and time.
