Mr. Donald Spivey, 60, of 156 Canyon Rd., passed away Saturday, April 02, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Spivey was born November 23, 1961, in Mecklenburg Co., the son of the late George Spivey and Ruby Childress. Mr. Spivey was a self-employed contractor for many years. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Spivey.
Mr. Spivey is survived by his wife, Pennie Bordeaux Spivey, one daughter, Devin Haynes husband Dean of Fla., two sisters, Lisa Whitley and husband Jamie of Four Oaks, NC, Denise Goodwin and husband Jeff of Raleigh, NC, 3 grandchildren, Natalie Haynes, Lucas Haynes, and Audrey Haynes.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Garland Cemetery.
The family will have a viewing from 1:00 P.M.-to 1:50 P.M. on Sunday, April 10, 2022, before the service at the cemetery.
