Mr. Eddis Ray King Jr., 77, of 12120 Garland Hwy., Clinton, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 04, 2021 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Eddis was born June 27, 1944 in Sampson County to the late Eddis Ray King Sr. and Lillie Eleanor Smith King. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Linda King and his second wife: Eleanor Simmons King,  brother: Steve King, sister: Elaine King Langley, and grandson: Alferton Garcia.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Ingold Cemetery in Garland with Ron Davis officiating the service.

Mr. King is survived by two sons: Eddis King III and wife Jennifer of Rose Hill; Franklin King of Unadilla, Ga, two brothers: Mike King and wife Carey of Corbett, OR; Stanley King and wife Teresa of Folsom, LA, three sisters: Donna Britt and husband John of Wilmington; Linda Watkins of Durham; Teresa Lamb and husband Ron of Alexander City, AL, 2 grandchildren: Samantha Garcia; David King and 7 great-grandchildren.
