Mrs. Ellis Jackie Horne, 81, of 55 West Front St., Garland, NC passed away on August 4, 2021, at Bladen Co. Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Mrs. Horne was born on May 24, 1940, the daughter of the late Alvin J. Horrell and Fannie Tedder Horrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Horne, four sisters, Mary Jane McArthur, Francis smith, Vickie Miller and Shelby Castleberry, two brothers, Bill Horrell and Alford Ray Horrell.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 07, 2021, at the Garland Cemetery, by the Reverend Ed Rouse officiating.
Mrs. Horne is survived by two sons, Douglas Horne and wife Carol of Garland, Joe Horne of Garland, three sisters, Betty Bloodworth of Watha, NC, Alice Bonham of Wallace, Brenda Pounds and husband Mike of Ivanhoe, Barbara Greene and husband David of Ivanhoe, one brother, Elvin Horrell of Ivanhoe.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 06, 2021, from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Garland Baptist Church.
