Elvinna (McKoy) Beatty

Mrs. Elvinna Beatty, 88, of 6615 NC Hwy. 210 East., Harrells, passed away Thursday, January 06, 2022, at Premier Living & Rehab Center in Lake Waccamaw.

Mrs. Beatty was born May 08, 1933, in Bladen Co. the daughter of the late Lemuel McKoy and Rosie Bell Murphy McKoy.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Gore, and brother Willie Neal McKoy.

A graveside will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Beatty Cemetery, Murphytown Rd., Harrells, NC.

Mrs. Beatty is survived by her husband, David Beatty Sr., two daughters, Thelma Bannerman, Rosetta Townsend (James), David Beatty Jr.,(Antionette), grandchildren, Valerie Rayner (Derrick), Bradley Townsend (Moneat), Clifton Townsend, Marcus Beatty, LaVonda Little (Joerall), Kenneth Bannerman, Great-grandchildren, Nikki Barksdale, Darius Hall, Chandler McKoy-Townsend, Tyvon Townsend, Brittney Townsend, Bradley Townsend Jr., Skylar Little, Aunts, Lucille Highsmith, Marie Henry and Arlene Highsmith, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home.
