Mr. Ernest “Tweet” Herndon Jr. 73 of 2088 Tomahawk Hwy Harrells, NC, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at NorthChase Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, NC

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 25, 2019 at Keathern Baptist Church in Harrells, NC.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Herndon is survived by his wife, Linder F. Herndon two daughters, Andrea Rayner (Dylan) of Clinton, Crystal Ervin and fiancé Larzaris of Angier, NC, three sons, Derrick Ervin (Traci) of Riverview, Fla., Robert Herndon of Va, Eric Herndon of Va, two sisters, Wanda Cash (Marvin) of Tenn., Carolyn Fulbright of Oka. One brother, Waymon Cruell of Ok, 7 grandchildren & several great-grandchildren.

The public will be received on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1:00P.M.-6:00P.M. with family present from 5:00P.M.-6:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland
