Evelyn (Evans) Coble

Mrs. Evelyn Evans Coble, 89, of 455 208 Mercer Mill Road, Elizabethtown passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center.

Evelyn was born February 18, 1931 in Bladen County to the late Haywood and Elzora Evans. She is preceded in death by her husband: Harvey Cleveland Coble, son: Harvey Kenneth Coble, daughter: Kathy Coble Averitte.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Friendship Baptist Church in Garland. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 PM. Burial to follow in the church’s cemetery. The services will be officiated by Pastor Gary McMillian.

Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory a son: Darrell Evans Coble of Garland, six grandchildren: Kenny, David, Brittany, Darrell Ray, Jonathan and Mary Beth Coble and seven great-grandchildren.
