Geraldine Hicks Obituary
Mrs. Geraldine Hicks, 76, of 95 Hoover Road, Harrells passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at her residence.
Geraldine was born August 07, 1945 in Sampson County to the late Charlie Newkirk and Janie Mae Newton. Mrs. Hicks worked for many years as a CNA in the Health Care Industry. She is preceded in death by her husband: John F. Hicks, Sr., and one daughter: Avis G. Boney.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 04, 2021 at Roseville Baptist Church Cemetery, 2870 Wilmington Hwy., Willard, NC. The Rev. Pastor Rodney Hansley will be officiating the service.
Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory three sons: John F. Hicks, Jr. and wife Denise of Teachey; James R. Hicks of Charlotte; Christopher L. Hicks and wife Lacria of Clayton, one daughter: Cynthia L. Corbett of Harrells, 2 honorary daughters: Tashanna N. Boney and April D. Boney both of Harrells and a host of nieces and nephews.
A walk-thru viewing will be held on Friday, September 03, 2021 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
