Isiah Herring

Mr. Isiah Herring, 97, of 7331 Old Mintz Hwy, Garland passed away Friday, October 09, 2020 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.

Mr. Herring was born March 18, 1923 in Sampson Co., the son of the late Henry Herring and Eular Cox Herring.  Mr. Herring was a W.W.II Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by wife; Brownie Melvin Herring and two brothers; James Herring & Clearance Herring.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Smith Chapel Church. 

Mr. Herring is survived by one son; Isiah ‘Sonny” Herring Jr. and one daughter; Brenda Herring.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 1:00P.M.-6:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to the Smith Chapel Building Fund.

The family would like to thank all the Doctors Nurses and staff at Mary Gran Nursing Center for their excellent care to our father.
