Mr. Jerry Franklin Fennell Sr., 72, of 7742 NC Hwy. 41, Wallace passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Jerry was born January 13, 1949 in Duplin County to the late Bessie Fennell. Jerry worked for many years with the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer. He is preceded in death by his son: Jerry Franklin Fennell Jr. and his brother: Tessie Fennell.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 28, 2021 at Keathern Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrells, NC. The service will be officiated by Reverend Willie Alford.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife: Ester A. Fennell, daughter: Evg. Pamela Fennell of Wallace and one brother: Joe Thomas Fennell (Linda) of Wallace.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 1:00-6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland with the family present from 5:00-6:00 PM.
