Jessie Waldo Cheek

Mr. Jesse Waldo Cheek (79) was born April 29, 1942, he passed at the Assisted Living Nursing Home in Raleigh on October 11, 2021. He was the son of the late Mr. William Clarence Cheek and late Lizzie Shaw Cheek of Harrells, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Cheek Cemetery, 4064 NC Hwy 210 East, Harrells.

He leaves behind a son, Mr. Darryl Beatty of Roanoke, VA, and a daughter, Ms. Lovely Green of Durham, NC. He leaves to cherish, Mattie Murphy (Lofton) of Harrells, NC, Janice Manuel (Petty) of Bronx, NY, Myrtise Murphy (Alexander) of Raleigh, NC, Curtis Cheek Roscoe, NY, and Clifton Cheek, Las Vegas, Nevada. A host of family members from Sanford, NC and nieces, nephews, and lots of loving friends.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 1:00-6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
