John Harold Long

Mr. John Harold Long, 58, of 289 Ira Long Rd., Harrells, NC died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home. Mr. Long was born June 06, 1961 in Pitt County the son of the late Donnie Harold Long and Gaynell Mozingo Long. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, September 15, 2019 Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Burial will follow in the Long Cemetery, Harrells, NC. Mr. Long is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Long of Holden Beach, one brother Mike Long and wife Susan of Rose Hill, two sisters Diane Wells of Wilmington,  Susan Lanier and husband Keith of Harrells, and half-sister Morgan Sutton and husband Jeff of Goldsboro. Special Uncle Milton “Bib” Long of Harrells. Four nieces Olivia Lanier of Harrells, Amberly Long of Rose Hill, Candace Brewington of Clinton and Deanna Wells of Wilmington. One nephew Jerry Lanier and wife Haley of Clayton. Three great nephews Jacob Brewington, Elijah Brewington both of Clinton and Champ Kamm of Wilmington.  

The family will receive friends on Sunday September 15, 2019 from 2:00 PM – 3:15PM prior to the service.
