Juanita "Neat" Mainor

Mrs. Juanita “Neat” Herring Mainor, 93, of 2409 Wildcat Rd. Harrells, NC died Friday, February 28, 2020 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

Mrs. Mainor was born October 15, 1926 in Sampson Co. the daughter of the late Ashley A. Herring and Ella Vestal Herring.  She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry L. Mainor Sr., one daughter; Rose Lee Manuel, and three brothers; Alexander Herring, Maldon D. Herring and James R. Herring.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 07, 2020 at Keathern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Harrells, NC, by the Reverend Harvey C. Robinson.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Mainor is survived by eight daughters; Ella Mainor, Mary Mainor, both of Harrells, Myrtle Mainor, New Heaven, MI,  Fontaine Mainor, Renee Mainor both of Harrells,  Tewanda Mainor of Leland,  Nacole Hayes (Frederick) of Clinton, Nacosha Manuel of Harrells, four sons; Harry L. Mainor Jr., James D. Mainor both of Harrells, Harry L. Mainor III (Pamela) of Leland, Arnold Fryar, one sister; Quessie Spearman of Harrells, special grandson; Quincy Smith, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

The public will be received on Friday, March 06, 2020 from 1:00 P.M.6:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home with family present from 5:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M., and other times at the home of Mary Mainor 139 Quincey Reese Lane, Harrells, NC 28444.
