Libby (Norris) Rogers

Mrs. Libby Norris Rogers, 90, of 2145 Wimbledon Way, Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at her residence.

Libby was born September 22, 1932, in Bladen County to the late Gaddie Norris and his wife Nettie Smith Norris. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Jack Vann Rogers, one daughter: Donna Bain, two sisters: Peggy Ruffin; and Pansy Autry.

A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 02, 2023, at Beards Chapel Baptist Church, 409 Beards Chapel Loop Road, Garland. The Rev. Joshua Keith and Rev. Tommy Hatcher will be officiating the service. Interment to follow the service at the Smith Cemetery in Harrells.

Libby leaves to her memory two daughters: Diane Bain and husband Donnie of Roseboro; Michelle Keith and husband Stewart of Murrells Inlet, one sister: Janice Bordeaux of Garland, 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held prior to the service at the Beards Chapel Baptist Church, 409 Beards Chapel Loop Road, Garland, from 3:00-3:45 PM, Sunday, April 02, 2023. Services are provided by Carter Funeral Home of Garland. www.carterfh.com
