Mrs. Lillian Bessie Bass, 93, of 2597 Lamb Rd., Garland, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at her residence.
Lillian was born March 22, 1928, in Richmond, VA, to the late Henry & Bessie Walls. She is preceded in death by her husband: Charlie Houston Bass Sr., one grandson: Charlie Houston Bass III, and her sister: Ann Honrine.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Grandview Memorial Park, 2809 N US 421 Hwy in Clinton with the Rev. Ed Rouse officiating the service.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory one son: Charlie Houston Bass Jr. of Urbanna, VA, six daughters: Sally Phillips & husband Chip Lankert of The Village, FL; Bessie Roberts of Greenville, SC; Judy Mills & husband Charlie of Ashland, VA; Jenny Hasselback of Garland, NC; Susan Smith of Garland, NC; and Mary Horne & husband Sammy of Garland, NC, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Garland Baptist Church.
