Obituary
Mrs. Linda Carol Horrell Johnson, 74, of 10282 NC Hwy. 41 East, Harrells, departed this world on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at her residence.
Linda was born April 15, 1948, in Sampson County to the late Elmer Autry and Mary Horrell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Grayford Johnson Sr., one son: Grayford Johnson Jr.; one daughter: Mary Fran Johnson, two brothers: Ed Horrell; and Jimmy Moore.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Colly Chapel Church in Harrells. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The service will be conducted by Rev. Jim Woodruff.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory one son: Terry P. Johnson and Shelia of Harrells, one granddaughter: Crystal Powell and husband Steven of Cerro Gordo, two great-grandchildren: Emily Powell and Nathan Powell, and her beloved fur baby: Precious.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
