Linda Jan (Lee) Poe

Linda Jan Lee Poe, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 08, 2024, in Bladen County, NC. She was born on November 24, 1948, in Robeson County, NC.

Linda’s greatest passion in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Linda found joy in playing bingo, where she would laugh and create wonderful memories with friends. She was also known for her cooking.

Linda held a special place in her heart for her great-great-grandson, Kingston Lee, who brought her happiness and love. She treasured the time they spent together, creating a bond that will forever be cherished.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Walter Lee and Bernice Lee Norton Britt, and RB Britt as well as her husband, Lester Poe. She is also reunited with her brother Ronald Lee and sister Terry Lynn Britt.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Sherry Rains (Jeff) of Elizabethtown, NC, Lucinda Eason (Mac) of Fayetteville, NC, and her son David Scott Poe (Allison) of South Carolina. Linda is also survived by her sisters Martha Brosh and Denise Allen, and her brother Donnie Britt. Her legacy extends to her nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were deeply loved and cherished by Linda.

Linda Jan Lee Poe will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. Her kind heart, warm smile, touched the lives of all who knew her.

The family invites friends and relatives to gather and share memories together at the home of Sherry Rains on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from the hours of 1PM till 3PM.
