Marjorie Tatum Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie M. Tatum, 70, of 4082 Mote Rd., Harrells, passed away on November 3, 2021, at Cape Fear Valley Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC.
Marjorie was born November 23, 1950, in Bladen County to the late Ernest Raeford Mote Sr. and wife Annie Merritt Mote. She is preceded in death by one sister: Vickie Bordeaux. Mrs. Tatum spent many years as an Inspector/Builder in the manufacturing industry.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 07, 2021, at Colly Chapel Church in Harrells. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jim Woodruff, Rev. Carey Horrell, and Blossom Jernigan-Rigsbee.
Marjorie leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband: Thomas Tatum of the home, one son: Steven Tatum and wife Tiffany of Harrells, three brothers: Raeford Mote and wife Sheila of Garland; Wayne Mote and wife Jackie of Avon, IN; William “Red” Mote of Harrells, and one sister: Sue Long of Bladenboro.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 06, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
