Nona Williams Obituary
Mrs. Nona Lee Williams, 80, of 549 NC-410, Apt. 7D, Bladenboro, formerly of Tar Heel, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Mrs. Williams was born February 29, 1940 in Bladen County, the daughter of the late Fable Burden and Lena White Burden. She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Williams, two brothers; James Burden and Fable R. Burden and two sisters; Retha Rigans and Attealia Porter.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Clarks Chapel AME Zion Church in Tar Heel. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter; Charlene Williams of Bladenboro, two sisters; JoAnn Burden and Emma Shipman both of Tar Heel, one brother; Richard Burden of Brooklyn, NY, two grandchildren; Raekwon Tyrell Williams of Lumberton and Makayla Denise Williams of Bladenboro.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
