Robert Dabbs Obituary

Mr. Robert Clayton Dabbs, 60, of 643 W. 2nd St., Garland, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

Robert was born April 02, 1963, in Bladen County to the late Robert David Dabbs and his wife Daisy Ray Smith Dabbs. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by one brother: Frank Carter, and one sister: June Thomas.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2023, at Carrs Chapel FWH Church, 2086 McDaniels Rd., Roseboro. Interment to follow at Dabbs Family Cemetery in Garland. The Rev. Billy Bass will be officiating the service.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife: Dianne Smith Dabbs, of the home, two daughters: Michelle “Bunny” Dabbs and husband “Carlos” of Garland; Pamela Dabbs of Garland, one son: Justin C. Dabbs and (Joanna) of Garland, one brother: Kent Dabbs of Garland, one sister: Carolyn Dabbs of Garland, four grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
