Samuel "Rooster" Rubin Robinson

Mr. Samuel Rubin Robinson “Rooster”, 85, of 292 Cain Road, Garland, passed away Wednesday, February 02, 2022, at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

Samuel was born July 12, 1936, in Sampson County to the late Marshall & Bonnie Bell Robinson. Mr. Robinson spent his working career as a Truck Driver for the Florida State Department of Transportation. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Estelle Robinson; Mary Smith; Ida Bell Robinson, brothers: Eddie Robinson and Marshall Robinson Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. The Reverend Jeffrey White will be officiating the service. Interment to follow the service at Garland Community Cemetery.

“Rooster” leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Brenda Robinson of the home, his beloved fur baby: Samantha Robinson, two daughters: Margaret Moffett of Clinton; Thomisina Lowry of Richmond, VA, two sisters: Margie Breeden of Fayetteville; Lucy James of Raleigh, one brother: Preston Earl Robinson (Carlette) of Jacksonville, FL, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 09, 2022, from 1:00-6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
