Ms. Saretta Poole (Newkirk) Tuck, 71, of 189 Horace Henry Lane, Ivanhoe, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at her residence.

Saretta was born August 06, 1950, in Sampson County to the late Willie and Flossie Newkirk. She worked for many years as a seamstress at the Garland Shirt Factory.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Interment to follow the service at the Newkirk Family Cemetery in Harrells.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 1:00-6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
