Wanda Johnson

Mrs. Wanda Johnson, 66, of 389 Walter K Evans Rd., Harrells, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Wanda was born June 11, 1955, in Lenoir County, NC, to the late Richard and Mae Whaley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Adam Johnson, grandson: Wesley Pusey, sisters: Phyllis Meggit; Sandra Whaley, and brother: Billy Whaley.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022, at Colly Chapel Church in Harrells. Interment to follow the service in the church cemetery. The Reverend Jim Woodruff will be officiating the services.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband: Tony Johnson of the home, two sons: Frank Weeks and wife Vanessa of Jacksonville; Corey Johnson and partner Brianna of Delco, two daughters: Veronica Pusey and husband Brandon of Ivanhoe; Jennifer Johnson and husband Ralph of Greenville, sister: Linda Barrett, grandchildren: Michael Johnson; Alex Johnson; Ethan Johnson; Gabriela Johnson; Jaelyn Weeks; Landon Pusey; Kenadie Pusey, and one great-grandson: Anthony Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 21, 2022, one hour prior to the service from 1:00-1:50 PM, at Colley Chapel Church in Harrells.
