Diane was my office assistant her senior year at East Bladen High School. Near the end of her senior year I guided her to attend Bladen Community College and she let me know when she got her first job. I kept in touch with her through FaceBook and considered her a dear friend. I loved the music she would post as she made a guesting game to name the song. The memory of our friendship will always be with me. My prayers for her dear family and friends.

I feel that I shouldn't be writing this, as Diane had her whole life ahead of her. I have known her for years and she was almost one of my closest and dearest friends. I keep replaying over and over in my mind she and I at the prom, at homecoming, the bus rides to school and home. Eating lunch together in school as well. Even after I moved away to Charlotte, we kept in touch and I was supportive of her in the midst of her storms that she faced. I loved Diane like my sister and I treasured our friendship down through the years. Knowing that my red haired, freckled face friend is not here anymore has broken my heart into a million pieces. To Diane's wife, I pray that you can find strength and comfort in this. To Mr. and Mrs. Delk, you both know how much your daughter meant to me and I am finding this hard to swallow. I am praying for you both in the midst of this. I send my love to all of the family and friends who stood by her even in her darkest moments. I know one day we will meet again, my friend. I love you and will miss you. Rest peacefully Diane. Love, Greg Pridgen Jr.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear – just know that you are very close in my thoughts and prayers!
