Harvey Cleveland Coble

Mr.. Harvey Cleveland Coble 89 of 2209 Old Fayetteville Rd. Garland, NC, died Tuesday, November 01, 2016 at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC

Born on April 16, 1927, Harvey was the son of the Grover Cleveland Coble and Hettie Cain Coble.  He was a crop and swine farmer for 70 years.  Mr.. Coble was preceded in death by his son, Harvey Kenneth Coble and his daughter, Kathy Coble Averitte..

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1989 Bull St. Garland, with the Rev. Gary McMillan officiating.  Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Evelyn Evans Coble, who was the love of his life.  He also leaves behind a son, Darrell Evans Coble of Garland, and one sister, Jane C. Howard of Garland.  He was blessed with six grandchildren, Kenny, David, Brittany, Darrell Ray, Jonathan and Mary Beth Coble and seven great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
